Happy Home Paradise is the first and only paid DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it allows you to travel to the archipelago and work as a budding vacation home designer, designing beautiful homes to fit specific themes for clients as well as stunning public projects such as a cafe, school, restaurant, and other establishments.
And it’s only natural that you’ll want to invite your favorite villagers to the archipelago as well so that you can build a small vacation home for them as well. There are a couple of different approaches that you can take to accomplish this, and we’ll go over both of them in this guide.

Give Your Villagers A Box Of Souvenir Chocolates As A Thank You
To invite any of your villagers from your island to the archipelago so that you can build a vacation home for them, the simplest way is to give them some souvenir chocolates as a thank you for their cooperation. These can be purchased from the Paradise Planning office for 800 Poki per box, or for a total of 2,000 ACNH nook miles (show details) if you purchase three boxes. (You earn Poki by putting in time as a graphic designer.)
Approach any of your villages with a box of souvenir chocolates in your inventory and select the This is for you option from the menu. You have the option of giving them the chocolates. When you invite them to the islands with you, they will sit on the beach alongside other clients hoping to get a vacation home, which will save you time and money. Start working on it and approach them about the possibility of building them a new small vacation home.
Amiibo Cards Are Used To Invite Villagers To A Party
Other options for inviting specific villagers include scanning their amiibo cards at the Amiibo Scanner in the Paradise Planning office, which becomes available after you have designed seven vacation homes.
This is an excellent little touch by Nintendo: if the villager lives on your island and you contact them, they will immediately recognize you as the one who has contacted them. Even if they are not a current resident of your village, they are still delighted to receive your correspondence. Instead of transporting clients to the beach, using an amiibo card to invite them will place you directly into the planning stage with Lottie instead of taking them to the beach,
