Jennie Nelson is a native of Big Lake/Monticello, MN. She earned her Dental Hygiene Degree from Normandale Community College and worked at a dentist’s office for 16 years before coming to Southside Dental Care in 2016. She enjoys helping others maintain their oral health.
Theresa enjoys working at Southside Dental Care
Theresa has been working at Southside Dental Care for nearly a year and a half. She enjoys interacting with patients and the variety of work she does, as well as spending time with her family and friends. Outside of work, she likes to be outdoors and spend time with her dogs. She also enjoys fishing and game nights with her family.
Before joining the Southside Dental team, Theresa spent three years working in a family practice. She also enjoys spending time with her family, reading, attending book club, and enjoying the outdoors.
Dr. Abramowski graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
Dr. Abramowski’s interests and background are broad. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology, then worked as a fermentation biologist, producing natural food preservatives. He is interested in community and rural psychiatry and rural health. He enjoys reading, playing board games, and traveling.
As associate vice chancellor for research and sponsored programs, he Dentist Jacksonville FL social science research across campus. He is also a professor of social work in the Institute for Research on Poverty. His work focuses on the effects of socioeconomic factors on parental behavior. He is responsible for developing and implementing funding strategies for research and education.
A native of Madison, WI, Dr. Abramowski earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. His interests are broad, ranging from public health to leadership. He has worked on projects in El Salvador as a Fulbright scholar and helped develop a leadership curriculum in rural Uganda. His professional development has earned him many awards and honors.
Dr. Liestman enjoys golfing
Outside of work, Dr. Liestman enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with his family. He also enjoys playing music, and has played violin in the St. Cloud Symphony for 10 years. After graduating from St. Dentist Jacksonville FL Cloud State University, Dr. Liestman attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. After dental school, Dr. Liestman completed his residency at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. He currently resides in Coon Rapids, MN.
Jennie Nelson, a Minnesota native, enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys reading, attending book clubs, and spending time outdoors. Dr. Liestman and Jennie Nelson play golf together on a regular basis, and Dr. Liestman are always looking for ways to make it a fun day!
Jennie enjoys being outdoors
Jennie Christian has always enjoyed the outdoors. As a child, she hid in a hay loft when she wanted to read. She later moved to St. Petersburg and enjoyed many activities including baseball and gardening. She also enjoyed shopping and dancing. These activities continue to be a part of her life today.
Kristi enjoys being outdoors
Before working at Higgins dental clinic Jacksonville FL, Kristi was an ER Veterinary Technician. She went on to attend Angelo State University. Before joining the Southside team, Kristi worked at the Concho Valley Veterinary Emergency Association. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family. She is also an aunt to her niece and nephew in San Antonio. She has been told she’s a “cool grandma.”
Outside of work, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family, spending time with friends, and reading. She is also a member of the book club and enjoys outdoor activities. Sheila Dawson has been a part of the Southside Dental Care team since 1999. She grew up in St. Michael, MN, and enjoys reading, being outdoors, and traveling.
